On The Trail of a Bard’s Life
In January 2018, I am celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns, with a talk called “The Heart’s Geography, On The trail of a Bard’s Life.”The talk takes a journey through Scotland visiting places that echo with the loves, passions, and struggles of the Scottish bard. It includes some of his poetry and song, quotes and images of the places he visited.
I am giving this talk at 3 locations:

Cardenden, Fife, Thur 1st Feb, 2 – 4pm at The Corrie Centre for a Women’s Discussion Group, (affiliated to the WEA).

Exploring Fairy Tales
I’m running a series of monthly Discussion and Creative Writing workshops inspired by the fascinating enchanted worlds of Fairy Tales at the Heart Centre, 235 High Street Kirkcaldy.
The next meeting in the Exploring Fairy Tales series, is on Tues 9th February, 2016 6.30 – 8.30pm when we’ll be looking at The Frog Prince.

Reading On The Train
On 2nd March Sheena Berry and I will be reading narratives and poems from our Circle Line publication as we travel round the Fife Circle with a University of The Third Age group from Edinburgh.
Our reading journey will terminate at the Fife Circle ConverStations exhibition of our posters in the waiting room at Inverkeithing Station.
